I am a bit sad tho that i cant look forward to more avatar shows. I think they did an awesome job and the episodes were great. Talk about your favorite episode, bending style and character.Īvatar’s final episodes have been aired on nickelodeon july 19th. Plot, characters, humour, maturity, action: this episode hits all of those points, and it hits them fantastically. Here i will be posting all the links of Avatar The Last Airbender! If someone asked me to boil down the 'essence' of the show into one episode, it would probably be this one. This is where the writers really hit their stride and started to surpass season 1 imo. Apart form the opening, I found season 2's episodes to be disappointing until this one. its not necessarily the deepest or most mature episode, but it showcases everything that makes Avatar so great (story, characters, humour, maturity), and it showcases them extremely well.įor me, this episode marks a turning point in season 2. It has some of the funnier moments (Sokka buying his purse, Sokka cheering during the contest, and of course water tribe), some really awesome moments (Toph laying waste to all before her), and some of the more serious stuff thats been missing in recent episodes. One of the best episodes of the entire show, and also one of my favourites. The transcript is a good idea if you can't watch it. Or probably just quote/reference a scene in the episode to liven up the thread. Watch "The Blind Bandit" now, or read the episode synopsis and information on the Avatar wiki, then fire away with your reactions, questions, comments, observations, and relevant jokes. My goal was to synchronize the threads in such a way, so that just after the very last of the threads was posted, Book 2 of LOK starts (and with its own chain of official discussion threads.) Unfortunately, Nick have been surprisingly very secret with the release date, which makes it very difficult. The threads will be posted around this time (around 2 PM EST), usually every Thursday and Saturday in that timezone.Īs a lot of you noticed, I've been posting these discussion threads either late or even not at all. It's basically like the discussion and reaction threads we had every week when Legend of Korra is airing. Let's watch and discuss all episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. Original post and links to previous and upcoming discussion threads. The Minecraft server IP is, more info here. These avatar themed subreddits are fully or partially run by moderators of /r/TheLastAirbender They build towards LoK and answer some questions left at the end of ATLA. There are several main comics which take place shortly after ATLA.
